1) Hypothesis - If hydrogen is added to cookies, then their shelf life will be longer.
2) The amount of hydrogen will be manipulated and the dependent variable is the cookies.
3) The connection made between my science project and senior project has to do with the cookies. The cookies that we are selling are the same cookies that are used in the project.
4) I plan on adding more and more hydrogen to different boxes to see which one lasts longer and the effect the hydrogen has on the cookies.
5) The project catagory is under chemistry.
I will be controling the amount of hydrogen in each of the boxes of cookies. the hydrogen tank that we are using shows a gage in which we can measure the amout of hydrogen in each box in ml.
then I will take the cookies and put them all in a controlled climate invironment and over time I will I will record there freshness status. In doing this experment I hope to come up with a box of cookies with the best possible shelflife.
Change hypothesis to: If hydrogen is added to cookies, then their shelf life will be longer.
ReplyDeleteImprove the procedure to include how you will measure the amount of hydrogen you add, how you will control the cookies (keep each one in an individually sealed environment), and that you will graph amount of hydrogen (are the units mL?) versus the shelf life (days) to find the optimum amount of hydrogen.
Add a #5: your project category is Chemistry.
